Wandering

These last few days have been a complete blur. I start school tomorrow and am looking forward to my classes this semester. Which is weird.....because normally I dread school...but not this time :)

I have spent a lot of time walking around this city. It is so beautiful wherever I seem to look....except for the ground sometimes....gross.
I rode the tube solo yesterday which was some what freeing, like I can actually do this. Such a good feeling. I also am mastering the whole black-black-on black color scheme Londoners have put into play. I really love it here, and it feels so good to be back.

Our school hosted a boat party on the Thames for us students a few nights ago. A night filled with Magner's, dancing (for some), and standing out on the freezing deck for most of the evening (like the other's of us who get sea sick), it was a fun evening though. Plus when else am I going to go to a party on a boat around the city.

I am meeting so many new people and have made a lot of new friends which is super duper :) it's amazing how quickly you get to know to people when you are all in the same boat and how fast you realize you are similar to many people. It's awesome!

I have also noted how quickly money can fly out of your pockets here in London. So budgeting for the next 4 months should be a challenge, but I'm game.

I am done with jet lag now so that is fantastic! Nothing better than actually sleeping through the night and waking up feeling rested.
Tonight I believe I am going to try to make it to Even Song at St. Paul's Cathedral, but we will see how the day goes.

Have a great Sunday everyone!!

-----P.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! I wish I could be there to celebrate with you but since I am not, have a fabulous day!! Love you :)

I would love to see London at night from the water, especially on a boat filled with new friends! And you have a very good excuse for missing your mom's b-day. Send her some photos of you from London ( with love).
